Summer camp is chock-full of sunny days, sweet treats, and salty sweat. Getting older, aging out of camp, and spending time indoors on a computer makes me nostalgic for the times I spent playing tetherball, learning to build a fire, and being afraid of the mythical creature that swam in the lake. Now, as an adult, working at a summer camp is a way to bring happiness to my inner child, while capturing the memories for current campers and staff alike. “Salty Sweet Summer” is a series of salt prints using some of my favorite images of cabin leaders from the summer of 2024.
